What is our next step? … We don’t actually know yet!
So many projects to choose from.
One of my pet projects follows on from The Feminist EarthMother PartyGirl … in Living your Best Life. I have a set of little helpful non-fiction books, which I’ll be blogging excerpts from right here.
But where to with our next fiction instalment is anyone’s guess at the moment! Such is the indie author’s dilemma.
My anthology of short stories? A rich tapestry of little slices of life.
Or my follow up to The Feminist EarthMother PartyGirl, which follows a different main character. My protagonist this time is Lilah Skinner, a Women and Gender Studies professor. Where Candice Kelly is 28, Lilah is 38 and in some serious need to sort out her life – with that dang biological clock ticking, should she try romance again or continue on with her contented single life?
And then there is my series, of which Because Life, which I’m blogging here, is a prequel.
That series is about friendship, love and career. Hmm. Do you sense a theme in my writing? I’m all about getting the relationship right, whether that’s with ourselves, our lovers, family, friends, colleagues or careers. This series is a trilogy with four books! Because there are at the moment two prequels, that’s right, I said two prequels. Yikes!
So on we go. It’s a lovely dilemma to have.
