One minute read
Last time we focused on the “today”. This time we’re going to focus on the near future.
Pause, and ask yourself:
When I reach my next decade birthday, what might I regret not having done now?
Your next decade birthday might be next week or next year, in which case adjust as necessary.
This question requires a longer-term view than just what you’re doing today. Feel free just to focus on part one of this series, doing one day at a time, until you’re ready to start thinking about next steps.
But if you’re ready, go for it. Perhaps it’s about your health. Eat better, move more.
Maybe it’s to accomplish a long-held goal. Learn an instrument, study, sew that special outfit.
Maybe it’s bigger than that. Change jobs, find a partner, save for a house.
It might be one thing, or it might be a whole list!
Once you have something to aim for, pause again, and think of one change you could make today to move towards it. Because every journey starts with just one step forward.
