Central to the theme of all my stories are those interactions that send our lives rocketing down a new path. Some of these interactions are good, some bad, but all impact us by shaping our beliefs and the path of our lives.
I believe we can learn a lot from these interactions if we remain open to them.
My heroines, and many of my heroes, are at the crossroads front and centre. They learn about themselves and, in doing so, learn to stand up for what they want in life. I write what I know from my own life. But I also like diversity, so my stories contain snippets of people not like me, to reflect diversity’s perfection. I choose not to write about these characters as the main protagonist, because I don’t have the kind of experience that would do them justice.
My stories are not only fun, but also serious. Not just romance, but also relationship. Add in the sauce on top: jobs, houses, kids, parents, friends, neighbours, colleagues and a generous dose of zany, and that’s my books in a nutshell.
